We have a very limited number of 1st quality mugs remaining. Each piece is numbered and sold in gift box. It has been painted by our Ullapool based decorator Susan Brown.

Named after the Gaelic word for stones, our 2023 Mug of the Year features a glaze that is made from natural local stones. Ullapool Limestone and Stoer Beach Sand create a beautiful, unique finish that’s both rustic and modern. The reaction of the glaze in our high temperature firing, makes each one truly special. This variation gives the mug an organic and natural feel that will be appreciated by anyone who loves nature and its elements… a thoughtful gift for the geologist in your life!

Please note that every piece will be different and that the images are illustrative of the pattern. The colours will vary with the firing temperature so we’ve provided a selection of images to show the range of variation.  Crazing is a common result of this unique geological glaze and it is still completely safe to use.
